This will probably be the last time these sedation courses will be held. -Mark Nepon
All attending the Sunday "Hands On" will get to assist 5 times and perform nitrous oxide inhalation sedation 5 times on patients. (6-7 hours)
Saturday October 25, 2025 Mixed Modality Sedation. This course includes training for Oral Conscious Sedation as well as the training necessary for Mixed Modality Sedation. (7 hours.)
The full mixed modality sedation course is a 3-day course. If you are not presently on the MDA nitrous oxide provider roster use, then all 3 days will be required. If you are applying to join the MDA mixed modality provider roster you must provide a copy of your sedation logbook that demonstrates five nitrous only and five separate oral sedation only cases have been completed. To join the mixed modality provider roster competence in both techniques separately and attendance at the multiple modality lecture course is required to allow registration on the MDA provider roster.
If you are on the Nitrous Oxide Roster already then you only need this course for the Mixed Modality Roster .
You will still need to provide your log book of sedation which must include 5 patients treated using only Nitrous Oxide Sedation and 5 patients treated using only oral conscious sedation to the MDA once course completed to be placed on the multiple modality provider roster.
Day 1 Nitrous Oxide Sedation (Saturday Oct 18, 2025,) and Day 3 Oral Sedation and Mixed Modality lecture (Saturday October 25, 2025) to be held at 202-1735 Corydon Ave, Winnipeg.
“Hands on” Nitrous Oxide Sedation (Sunday October 19, 2025,) will be held at Integral Dental 1721 Portage Avenue, Suite 200. We will start at 8am.
